Obituaries

John “Jack” Bradley, 60, of Scranton, passed away Christmas Day at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.
Born May 20, 1963 in Scranton, son of Mary Smith Bradley Cerato, Scranton and the late John Bradley, Jack was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School.  Prior to his illness, he was employed as a cook at Brunetti’s Pizza.
An avid sports fan, he rooted for the New York Yankees, New York Jets, Notre Dame and the North Scranton Vikings.  Jack was a quiet man who kept to himself and enjoyed time with his loved ones.  Taken too soon, he will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
Surviving are: his long time companion, Cindy Birtel; his children, Kyle and Casey Tighe, Ashley Hughes, and Nicole and Mindy Fisher; 11 grandchildren.
Jack was preceded in death by his stepfather, Larry Cerato, and his brothers, Robert and Donald Bradley.
As per Jack’s wishes, there will be no public viewing or services.
Arrangements are under the care of the Kevin K. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton.
