Joan Norma (Seaman) Enderline, 89 and a lifelong Old Forge resident, passed away peacefully Sunday morning at home.
On April 17, 1997, she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Lawrence (Larry) Enderline.
Born on November 13, 1934 and daughter of the late Norman and Vivian (Thomas) Seaman, Joan was a graduate of Old Forge High School.
Along with raising her children, Joan worked as a secretary for the former TOPPS Chewing Gum Co. in Duryea before becoming a well-known bank teller for the Third National and Core State Banks (now Wells Fargo) in Taylor.
An active member and past matron, she was a member of the Martha Washington #3 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She also served as a board member for the International Order of the Rainbows for Girls.
A lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in Old Forge, Joan served as a pillar of the church’s congregation in countless capacities.
