Timothy James Carr, 59, of Nicholson, passed away Friday, Dec. 1, at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, after an illness.
Born March 2, 1964, in Scranton, son of Patricia Marie Rogan Carr, Nicholson, and the late John Carr, Tim was a graduate of Mountain View High School. For over 25 years he worked in sales at the family business, Holly Label Company Inc., Nicholson, with his dad and later on with his brother. He was an active member of St. Thomas More Parish, Scranton.
Tim was very passionate about his beliefs. From his involvement with the church to his active role in the local pro-life movement, his fervor for his core beliefs were always a driving force in his actions. In an earlier time, Tim enjoyed hiking with his fellow members of the Sierra Club. His most cherished role in life was that of being caretaker to his mom. Taken way too soon, he will be forever remembered for his zeal for life.
The family would like to offer a sincere thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Geisinger Community Medical Center for their wonderful care and compassion shown to Tim and the family during Tim’s lengthy stay at the facility.
Surviving in addition to his mother are a brother and sister-in-law, John and Cecilia Carr, Clarks Summit; nephews, Michael, Mathew, Nicholas and Nathan; an uncle, Bill Rogan, New Hampshire; and several cousins.
