Craig Michael Houliston, age 79, passed away on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 17th at his home surrounded by family. He was born on November 19, 1943 to his late father Craig Houliston Sr. and mother Maryanne Houliston in Philadelphia. Craig graduated from Lake Lehman High School in 1961 and later studied History at Wilkes University. He went on to work at the Scranton School District for 40 years, spending many years as a history teacher at Scranton Central High School.
In 1980, Craig met Joanne Margaret Dupell in Philadelphia. Craig and Joanne Houliston married and raised five children. In 2006, Craig retired from work and spent his time traveling the world with his wife, Joanne, visiting more than 70 countries over six continents. Craig is survived by his wife, Joanne, his children, Michael, Terrence, Jim, Linda, and Erin, his son-in-law, Kyle, and his granddaughter, Regina.
