Obituaries

Theresa M. (Walsh) Reynolds, 69, of Scranton, passed away Sunday morning in Bradford Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Troy.

Born July 8, 1954 in Scranton, daughter of the late James F, Sr.. and Romaine Ross Walsh, Theresa was a graduate of Scranton School District.  Employed as a waitress in various restaurants, Theresa was most recently employed as a private duty nurses aide.  Theresa was a  member of the Honesdale Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Theresa was a loving and caring person who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Surrounding herself with family was her passion, as she enjoyed hosting parties at her home.  Her love for her dogs was well known to everyone.  Theresa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving are: her daughter, Tammie Reynolds, Scranton; her son, David Reynolds, Scranton; grandchildren, Avery, Gavin, and fiancee, Isabella, Evan, and Landon Hiller; Victoria, Molly, and Keegan Reynolds, her sister, Susan Walsh, Scranton; her brothers, Kevin Walsh, Martinsburg, WV, Kenneth Walsh, Dickson City, Patrick Walsh, Scranton, and Michael Walsh, Taylor; several nieces and nephews.

Two sons, Sean Michael and James David Reynolds, sisters, Mary Sabatella and Judy Eckersley; and brothers, Robert, James F., Jr., and Brian Walsh preceded her in death.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Treament Advocacy Center (The Recovery Bank), 120 Wyoming Avenue, Scranton, PA  18503.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Kevin K. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 N. Main Ave., Scranton.
