Ralph William Breymeier, 57, Old Forge pased away Friday evening at Allied Hospice in scranton, after a sudden illness. His loving wife of 35 years is the former Cathy Jezorwski. The couple was married April 16, 1988.

Born June 10, 1966 in Scranton, Ralph was the son of the late Thomas, Jr. and Patricia Carey Breymeier. A 1984 graduate of Riverside High School, Ralph started his career in the meat department of various grocery stores, eventually becoming a meat manager and was currently employed as a machinist at Lockheed Martin. Ralph was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Scranton and a past member of the Moosic Lions Club.

An avid outdoorsman, Ralph enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at the cabin. A member of the Choke Creek Rod and Gun Club and an endowment member of the NRA, Ralph was an avid gun collector, who knew anything and everything about guns, and often found enjoyment shooting or spending time at the gun shop. Ralph was a big fan of the Phillies, Raiders, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Old Forge Pizza. Takne too soon, he will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Surviving are his daughter, whom he adored, Corinne Marie, and husband, Sean Durkin, Jermyn; siblings, Thomas Breymeier, III, nad wife, Tina, Hughestown; sisters, Kim Verespey, and husband, Ambrose, Old Forge, and Laura Stone, Nicholson; 2 aunts, Geri Verman and Lorraine Lowe; his mother and father-in-law, Edward and Josephine Jezorwski; sisters-in-law, Diane Pettyjohn and Jennifer Skurka, and husband, Jim; brothers-in-law, Edward Jezorwski and John Jezorwski, and wife, Amy; several nieces, newphes, and cousins; and his faithful German Shepherd, Mya.

A special thank you to his goddaughter, Gabrielle Verespey, and the doctors, nurses, and staff of Geisinger Community Medical Center and Allied hospice for the wonderful care and heartfelt compassion shown to Ralph and his family during his illness. You were angels in human form and your kindness will not be forgotten.

Funeral services will begin on Wedneday at 9:15 AM from the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 N. Main Street, Old Forge with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Divine Mercy Parish, 312 Davis Street, Scranton to be celebrated by Rev. Paul McDonnell, pastor. Interment to follow in Old Forge Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 5-8 PM in the funeral home.
