Joseph C. Welch Sr., 87, of Bowie, Md., passed away on Sept. 7 at University of Maryland Medical Center.
Funeral services were held on Saturday at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery Chapel in Moosic by Rev. Philip J. Sladicka. Local arrangements were under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home Inc., 517 N. Main St., Old Forge.
