Helen Chundock Vadovsky, 82, of Scranton and formerly of Old Forge, died Sunday at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born November 20, 1940 in Old Forge, daughter of the late Andrew and Helen Tichko Chundock, Helen’s loved for animals was beyond compare.

Surviving are: a son, Jacob Andrew Vadovsky, Scranton; grandson, Jacob David Vadovsky; sister and best friend, Connie Langwasser, Scranton; nephew, Ken Langwasser, and wife, Julie, Chino Hills, CA; nieces Tammy Yescavage, and husband, Tom, Clifford Twp., and Jacqueline Keiper, and Husband, Butch, Scranton.

A brother, Andrew Chundock, Jr., preceded her in death.

A Celebration of Helen’s Life will be held on Saturday at 5 pm in the Kevin K. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 N. Main Ave., Scranton, with Rev. Francis Landry, officiating.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 3 PM until the time of the service in the funeral home.
