William J. Chiskowski, 75, a longtime resident of Jefferson Township, passed away Thursday at Green Ridge Health Care Center, Scranton with his loving wife, Carol Swanek Chiskowski, at his side.
Born March 9, 1948 in Scranton, son of the late Chester and Frances Mychayliw Chiskowski, Bill was a graduate of West Scranton High Schhol and earned his Bachelors Degree from Lackawanna Community College. Bill was employed by the former RCA and retired from Tobyhanna Army Depot.
Family was Bill’s greatest pleasure in life. From coaching little league while the boys were young to fishing and camping, having family surrounding him brought him the true enjoyment that we all long to have. He was fascinated by the Curse of Oak Island. And although he may not be able to explain it to us, he now knows what secrets that Island holds. Gone too soon, his legacy will live on in those who knew and loved him.
Surviving are his sons, Jeff Chiskowski, and wife, Lyndsye, Louise, VA, and granddaughter, Pyper, and Brian Chiskowski, and wife, Sheila, Huntsville, AL, and grandchildren, Abby and Alex,
