Beverly (Fazzi) Moletsky, a longtime resident of the Keyser Valley section of West Scranton, passed away Saturday at Allied Skilled Nursing Center in Scranton, after an illness. She was 73 years young.
On September 3, 2010, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John A. Moletsky. The couple were married for 41 years.
Born in Scranton on February 4, 1950, and the daughter of the late Vincent and Dolores (Rybacki) Fazzi, Beverly was educated at West Scranton High School. She married John and began raising her two sons before working as a seamstress at B&C Sportswear, Inc. in West Scranton, for nearly four decades.
Beverly was kind, caring and never one to pass up a good TV soap opera and a dedicated slot machine player, she always enjoyed her casino trips. She surely appreciated the simple things in life and now at peace, will never be forgotten by family and friends. Her memories will forever remain in their hearts.
A faithful Roman Catholic, she was a longtime member of the former St. David’s Church in the Keyser Valley section of West Scranton, prior to its closure, and now St. Patrick’s Parish.
She is survived by her loving family, including her two sons, Brian Moletsky and wife Michele of Dupont and Paul Moletsky and wife Bev of Scranton; her three siblings, Vincent J. Fazzi and wife Doreen of Scranton, Deborah Holley of Duryea and Laura Galdieri and husband Richard (Rick) of Clarks Summit; a step grandson, Joseph Anuszewski of Scranton; and nieces and nephews.
Beverly’s family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff of Allied Skilled Nursing Center’s 3-north, especially Jennifer Miles, for the years of dedicated care given to Beverly.
A celebration of Beverly’s Life will be Saturday at the Kevin K. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton, with 11:00 AM Blessing Services by Rev. Richard Fox, St. Patrick’s Parish Parish. Burial will follow at the Cathedral Cemetery.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until services.
