Obituaries

Ryan Lee Tomczyk, a longtime Old Forge resident, passed away on Tuesday. He was 36 years old.
Born on May 4, 1986, Ryan was the son of the late Brenda (Tomczyk) Miller, who preceded him in death on July 23, 2005, and David Godlewski of Scranton. He is also preceded in death by step father David Wayne Miller. He went to Old Forge High School and he had last worked for Pasqualichio Brothers, Inc. in Scranton.
Ryan loved his sports, especially his Dallas Cowboys football, and he was a passionate about and dedicated to weightlifting. Kind-hearted and a truly good person, he’ll long be missed by family and friends who are broken-hearted to have lost him.
He is also survived by his sister Rhianna Miller of Old Forge; brothers David Miller of FL and Harley Miller of Old Forge; his grandmother, Ann Marie Tomczyk of Old Forge; and aunts and uncles, including Joseph Tomczyk of Old Forge.
Blessing services will be on Saturday at 9:30 AM in the SS Peter and Paul Cemetery Chapel, Parrott Avenue and Albert Place in Taylor, with burial to follow. Friends and family are welcome.
