Obituaries

Melinda (Demich) Ceccacci, age 68, of Pittston, passed away Sunday at Kingston Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Kingston.
Born in Hughestown on September 10, 1954, Melinda was the daughter of the late Fred and Carol (Rutkowski) Demich. She was a graduate of Pittston Area’s High School Class of 1972 before raising her two beloved children.
She’s now at peace and will be forever loved by her family and friends.
She is survived by family, including her children, Lori D’Aiello and husband Joseph of Pittston Twp. and Kevin Ceccacci, caregiver and with whom she resided; her grandsons, Frank and Matthew D’Aiello; two siblings, Joseph Demich and wife Sarah of Duryea and Carol Estock of Duryea; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Morello Church, 237 William Street in Pittston. Private burial, St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hughestown.
