Todd Heinsch, a longtime resident of Austin, Texas, and recently of Avoca, passed away on Saturday. He was 43 years young. Surviving is his loving wife of 14 years and Moosic native, Valerie (Felter) Heinsch.
Born in Carlsbad, New Mexico, on February 25, 1979, and beloved son of Cathy Mundy and the late Steve Heinsch, Todd was a graduate of West Lake High School. He earned his Bachelors Degree from Texas Tech University before earning his Masters Degree from the University of Dallas.
An I.T. specialist, Todd was the owner of ATX Solutions, a technology and consulting company based out of Austin.
Todd loved the outdoors. Some his fondest memories were made while hunting, fishing and camping. He was also an active member of the St. Vincent DePaul branch of the Knights of Columbus in Austin.
Above all else came Todd’s family. He was an adoring husband, father, son and brother. His daughters meant the world to him and they’ll forever love and miss their Daddy.
Passing away certainly too young and unexpectedly, Todd will forever be missed by his family and friends.
He is also survived by his three daughters and legacy, Maura, Mila and Merryck; step-dad Larry Mundy; two brothers, Rhys Heinsch and wife Zoe; and Colton Lovelace, all of Dallas; step-sisters Blair and Brett Mundy of Austin; aunt Leslie Heinsch of Carlsbad New Mexico; and in-laws, Diane and Michael Felter, both of Moosic; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday at 10:00 AM at Queen of the Apostles Church, 715 Hawthorne Street, Avoca, to be celebrated by Rev. Phil Sladicka, Pastor.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday at the church from 9:00 AM until Mass time.
Arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 N. Main Street, Old Forge.
