I’m so sorry for your loss. I worked with your Mom for many years . She was a lovely lady.

I never had the opportunity to meet you and Ike except for one quick moment when Ike and you let me use a wheelchair and I came to your home to pick it up. I put it in my car and instantly called JoAnn and said JoAnn did you tell your dad I was coming for the wheelchair and she said yes why and I said because when I knocked on your parents door your dad looked thru the door and said who are you and I repeated my name several times and he kept saying I don’t know you that I must of had the wrong house and to get off his porch. I turned to go down the steps to leave and I could hear your mom laughing in the background and say Ike you have the poor girl afraid and to open the door. He opened the door and said “I gotcha didn’t I”, and I said yes you did. I went up the driveway and got the wheelchair and jumped into my car. JoAnn had a good laugh when I told her what happened. I know you meant the world to JoAnn and the rest of your children and family members and I can say you raised a beautiful family that adored you. So as I say in times like these it isn’t goodbye it’s until we meet again.
