Louis Dominic Astolfi

July 19, 1945 - September 17, 2022

Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

I just heard the news today about Mr. Astolfi. He was one of my favorite teachers of all time. He was an inspiration. He turned me on to weightlifting, and bodybuilding. He always had great stories to share about Old Forge Athletics, and Sports in general. He will be sorely missed. My deepest, sincerest, and heartfelt condolences to his family. Rest in Peace Sir.

Mr. Astolfi was my health teacher, my wrestling coach, and later my insurance agent. He was great at all of those. As I told him many years ago, his health class was one of the biggest influences in my becoming a physician. My condolences and may help rest in peace.

Lou was a good friend. We spent many hours at the gym and coffee shop. He went with us to a phillies game. He loved his family and will truly be missed. My sincere condolences.

Lous was a great guy and always a gentleman. I haven’t seen him in almost 20 years, but, I was just thinking of him as I passed the old forge office the other day. To his family, I’m very sorry. He will be missed.
