Daniel McNulty, a New Jersey native, passed away Monday at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton. He was 45 years young.
Born on May 1, 1977, he was the son of loving mother, Patricia (Farrell) McNulty of Taylor, and the late Timothy McNulty. A graduate of Bishop George Ahr High School, he then studied art at the DeVry University School of Art. A master carpenter by trade, he was a skilled artisan who was absolutely meticulous in his work. Thoughtful, creative and artistic, his talents were on full display through all he was able to build and construct..
His humor was memorable, especially his Irish wit. Certainly now at peace, he’ll be forever loved.
He is survived by his adoring family including his dear children Zack and Phoenix McNulty; sisters, Kelly Puskarik and husband Christopher and Katie Cuddey and husband Thomas; a maternal grandmother, Sally Farrell; a longtime partner, Selena Gauthier; and nieces and nephews, Gabrielle and Gavin Cuddey, Reese, Scotlynn and twins Sally and Brecken Simonson.
An infant daughter, Sophie McNulty, a sister, Jacqueline “Jackie” (McNulty) Simonson; a maternal grandfather, Joseph Farrell; and a maternal aunt who was like a second mother to him, Mary (Ter) Farrell, also preceded him in death.
A blessing service is scheduled for Monday at 11:00 AM at the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge. Entombment will follow in the Cathedral Cemetery Mausoleum.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday between 2-5:00 PM at the funeral home.
