Obituaries

Patricia A. Admire, 62, of Scranton, died Tuesday morning at Geisinger-Community Medical Center after being stricken ill at home.

Born on New Year’s Eve in 1959, daughter of the late Elwood and Dorothy Tyburski Martin, Patricia was a graduate of Scranton High School. Patricia worked in offices, factories, and most recently in a bakery prior to her retirement. She was of the catholic faith.

Patricia was a lover of everything nature. The outdoors, animals, and especially gardening. With her green thumb, she could make anything grow. She enjoyed romance movies, especially Ghost and Dirty Dancing, and listening to music, her favorites were Celine Dion and Cher. Taken way too soon, Paticia will always be remembered by her loving family and friends.

Surviving are her daughter, Christine Admire Miller, and husband, Jared; sons, Richard and Robert Admire, all of Scranton; her siblings, Ken Martin and Sharon Mielo, of Scranton, and Cindy Tokash, Old Forge; her two grandchildren, Isabel and Hailey; and several nieces and nephews.

Her brother, Michael Martin preceded her in death.

Per Patricia’s wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family with inurnment in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst with her family.
