Obituaries

Nicholas (Nick) Capone, age 36, of Old Forge, passed away on Monday. Born in Dunmore on August 23, 1985, Nick was the son of James Capone of Dunmore and the late Robin Best who preceded Nick in death on September 26, 2019. A 2004 graduate of Old Forge High School, he most recently worked in Susquehanna County fracking.
Nick was active and loved being outdoors. He was a great baseball player in his youth and he was an avid snowboarder and skateboarder. He possessed a witty humor and certainly there was never a dull moment in his company. He also loved animals, especially his cat “Sosa.”
He is also survived by his sister, Marissa Reynolds and husband Robert, Jr. of Scranton; two nieces, McKenzie and Mia; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Private arrangements for a celebration of Nick’s Life are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge.
