Family came first, always, and she was an adoring mother and grandmother who will never be forgotten.
She was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Church in Scranton.
She is survived by her loving daughter and devoted caregiver, Debra Stivala of Canadensis; her granddaughter, Marlessa Stivalaof Queens, N.Y.; her brother, William Lescinsky and wife Joan of Covington Twp.; and many nieces and nephews.
Siblings, Joseph and Charles Lescinsky, Dorothy Tomlinson, Rose Diana and Helen Keiper, also preceded her in death.
Debra would like to acknowledge and thank the amazing staff of Green Ridge H.C.C. for the care, compassion and kindness shown to both her and her mother throughout her stay. She would also like to thank both the staffs of Sacred Heart Hospice and also Geisinger CMC Staff.
