Obituaries

Angela Rachel Edwards-Stines, 47, of Wilkes-Barre, died Thursday at home.
Born September 12, 1974 in Scranton, Angela was the oldest of 14 siblings, and the daughter of Marion Herron Townend, Moosic, and the late Bernard Edwards. She was a graduate of Mid-Valley High School and a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran. Now at peace, she will be forever missed.
Surviving are her children, Randall Stìnes and fiance Mariah, Gìllianne and Zack Leasher; several grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Kevin, Heather, Felicia, Theresa, Hannah, Bernard, Lori, Tiffany, Mark, Tim, Katie and Chrissy; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Also preceding her in death was her stepfather, David Townend, and siblings, Kim and Ken.
A celebration of Angela’s life will be held on Saturday at 4 PM in the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 N Main St., Old Forge. Relatives and friends may pay their respects from 3 PM until the time of the service in the funeral home.
