Dear Len and Family: Jill and I would like to express our deepest condolences on Eileen's passing. Eileen was indeed a special person. She was a very gifted woman. We remember getting to know her when we were members of the Childbirth Educators Association in the 70s. We remember dinner engagements, political get togethers and other social events. Eileen and you always made us fell welcomed. It was always a fun time and we always looked forward to our times together. May you find peace, love and comfot among family and friends during these sad and trying times. May she rest in peace in God's hands and above all cherish her memory. Len and Jennifer and family, I was so sorry to hear about Eileen. It was funny but I had just been thinking about her. She was a sorority sister and probably the reason I chose ADPi. I can't tell you how many times I would go to her room (when she was an RA) seeking her advice or help. She wasn't my RA, but her room was only 2 doors away. Even though we only had that one year, she was a senior and I was a freshman, she made such an impact on my life. Len, I attended your wedding and later visited you after Becky was born. Later, life got in the way and we didn't even keep up the once a year correspondence. We spoke once within the last few years, but time has a way of passing too quickly. I'm sure you wish you had more time with her. You are all in my prayers and I hope you gain some comfort knowing she is in the Lord's tender care. Joanne

Len, Jennifer and Bill, Jim and Kris, Bill, I was so saddened to hear about Eileen’s passing. I remember Eileen’s warmth and welcoming personality from the early ‘70s when my good fortune, and meeting Jim at PSU, gave me the opportunity to get to know all of the Pocius family including Eileen. It was a pleasure catching up with everyone this past July and meeting Eileen and Len’s beautiful daughter and her family. They are carrying on Eileen’s legacy. Eileen was such a talented person who gave her best to all of her students. Her bravery at the loss of her daughter was a shining example for any parent who lost a child. The world was a better place because she lived in it. So many will miss her, but remember her with love and fondness.

Our heartfelt condolences to Lenn and his family. We are sorrowed to hear of Eileen's passing. She was always a ray of light.. I was shocked to hear of this. Eileen was an old friend, going back to high school, and I always treasured my time in her company. I send my love to Len -- perhaps my oldest friend, from the age of 5 -- and his family. Jay
