Thomas (Tom) Sedorovitz, Sr., age 64, a lifelong resident of West Scranton, passed away Sunday evening under the care of Allied Services Hospice after an illness.
Born on December 28, 1956 and raised in Scranton, Tom was the son of Prima (Balzani) Sedorovitz of Scranton and the late Stanley Sedorovitz. After attending West Scranton High School, Tom proudly earned his GED before earning his Bachelors Degree in Nutrition from Marywood University. A dietitian for the former Mercy Hospital for several years, he then worked for several local nursing homes prior to illness.
Above all else came his beloved son, Tom, Jr. Walks throughout McDade Park with his son meant everything to him. He will long be missed by his loved ones.
He is also survived by his son, Tom Sedorovitz, Jr. of Scranton; and three siblings, Robert (Bob) Sedorovitz of Scranton, Elaine Legget and husband William of Dickson City and Maryann Sedorovitz of Scranton; and nieces and nephews.
