Michael Cabbotts Acciai, 47, a resident of Scranton, died Friday morning at home.

Born March 21, 1974 in Scranton, to the late biological parents, Nicholas Cabbotts and Alice Ann Smith, and lovingly raised by his late adoptive parents, Margaret and John Acciai, Michael was a graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School. Michael served honorably in the US Army. He worked for many years with Ethan Allen Furniture and was currently Manager of Operations for ABM Parking Services, Scranton.

A loving father and brother, Michael had a strong work ethic. An avid Steelers fan, he enjoyed fishing with his son, Michael. He had a passion for music and enjoyed playing guitar. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

Surviving are: his two sons, Kaden Stormes, and fiancee, Autumn Cutro, Scranton and Michael Anthony Acciai, Scranton; Siblings, Michael Acciai, and wife, Peg; John Acciai, and wife, Kyongsu; Marsilia Castellano, and husband, Michael; Catherine Acciai; Margaret Kelly, and wife, Tracey; Joann Connor, and husband, Patrick; and Jane Ann, and many nieces and nephews

Brothers Nicholas Acciai and Danny Cabbotts preceded him in death.

A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be held on Friday at 5 PM in the Kevin K. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 N. Main Avenue, Scranton, with Rev. Francis Landry, officiating. Military Honors will be rendered by the AmVets Honor Guard.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects Friday from 2 PM until the time of the service in the funeral home.
