Rachelle Marissa Offidani, 25, of Taylor and formerly of Cresco, went home to eternal peace on Saturday, July 3rd..
Our young beautiful flower, your petals blown by a sudden storm. Your loving seeds scattered amongst everyone you touched. We can not hold your hand anymore but hold you in our hearts forever with all my being – Daddy
Rachelle was born in Jim Thorpe, but spent most of her years growing up in Cresco. She leaves behind her beloved son, Anthony Joseph; parents, Jill Smith-Perez, and significant other, James Smith, and Ralph J. Offidani, and significant other, Karen Bischoffher sisters, Garielle Perez, Jessie and Jackie Offidani; a nephew, Desmond; aunt and uncle, Jamie and Jeff Berish, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, who she loved dearly.
Her brother, Adam Offidani, Maternal grandparents, Gary and Cathleen Depue Smith, and paternal grandparents, Gaetano and Marisa Offidani, preceded her in death.
At the age of 5, Rachelle was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis from Lyme Disease causing her much pain at a young age. But she never said, “Why me?” You got to dance babygirl. She never let her pain get her down as she enjoyed basketball, snowboarding, and music. She was a great patriot and vigilant voter. Rachelle was an excellent student and excelled in her education, was inducted into the National Honor Society and was a constant on the Honor Roll.
Her smile lit up any room, and her warmth and personality drew you to her. She never had an angry word toward anyone.
You will forever be in our hearts and until we join you in eternity, watch over us, send us strength, and we love you. God is Great, Forever, God is Great.
A Celebration of Rachelle’s Life will be announced at the Keokee Chapel United Methodist Church, Keokee Chapel Lane, Paradise Valley.
