So sorry to hear of your dad passing away!

Posted by Carole LaCoe on May 14, 2021

Emil was a wonderful man, with a unique sense of humor that would get him and those he worked with through any adverse conditions. He had a passion for his chosen career and was a master at his work, but he loved his family even more and he spoke about them often. My father had worked with him during his Haddon years and introduced me to him the day prior to me starting work with him at Sandvik. After retirement and Carol’s passing, he returned to Sandvik, part-time, to help us through some business changes and we stayed close for many years, continuing to stay in touch with our management team dinners, right up through last month. He will be greatly missed. Condolences to all of his family.

So sorry for your loss. Emil was a good man. He always helped anyone he could. He was a wizard with excel and helped me many times when I got stuck. He set up an automated tracking system for our special products meetings at Sandvik and updated them at our meetings. I worked with Emil for almost 40 years. He was always a gentleman and I never saw him upset. The world could use many Emil Siwks!

Emil was a genuinely nice guy with a great sense of humor.I had the privilege of working with him for over 24 years.Even when things got quite ruff at our job he would manage to make us in the wire division, smile, and reach for solutions, he was our go to guy for help and advice. He enjoyed talking to me about my antique car hobby and where I was at on a particular car , he always showed great interest. I was saddened to here of his passing and would like to give my deepest condolences to his family , Emil was one of a special kind, we were all very lucky to have known him.

I worked with Emil for many years at Sandvik and he was truly a class act, always willing to help, listen and lend advice. I’m so happy to have known him. My condolences to his family.
