Ann Marie (Frost) Smith, LPN, age 85, of Falls Twp. And formerly of West Scranton, passed away Monday at home. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Marshall G. Smith Jr., on August 16, 2010.
A Scranton native, Ann Marie was born on October 6, 1935, and daughter of the late Albert and Catherine (Lynch) Frost.
A devoted wife, loving daughter, adoring grandmother and sister, she’ll be forever remembered by family and friends. She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Colleen McCloskey of Falls Twp.; seven grandchildren, Madonna Venson, Morgan, Marcus, Melissa McCloskey, Michael, Max Evans and Destiny Forte; a great grandchild, Mariana Montero; sisters, Marion Needham of Scranton, Geraldine Lang of Scranton and Jean McAndrew of CA; and several nieces and nephews. Siblings, Ray, Gerald and John “Jack” Frost and Betty Viola also preceded her in death.
Private arrangements are under the care of the Kevin K. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Ave., Scranton, 18504. Burial, Cathedral Cemetery in West Scranton.
