Shauna Ann (Parker) Wickkizer, recently of Pittston, passed away Saturday evening. She was 37 years young.
Born in Carlisle on August 14, 1983, Shauna was the daughter of beloved mother, Sharon (Sarti) Parker of Moosic, and father, the late Reginald “Reggie” Parker. A graduate of North Schuylkill High School, Shauna then studied art before briefly working for the State of Pennsylvania.
Shauna could simply be referred to as “Super Mom.” She had the deepest devotion to her children’s care, upbringing and education. Due to her love for children, it was only natural to begin a home daycare where she taught and nurtured all the children in her care.
Shauna’s energy was magnetic. Her smile was engaging as was her outgoing nature. Her personality would light up any room she entered and her huge heart made her endearing to all who knew her.
She stressed striving towards big dreams and applying 110% effort to all endeavors. Artistic, creative and certainly a fashionista, she had a style all to her own.
If she leaves behind anything at all, it would be the message to her children that their Mom loved them more than anything. She’ll be forever missed by her loved ones.
She is also survived by her adoring family, children, Seth Cuff, Charlie Cuff and Lennon Krause; her husband, Howard “Todd” Wickkizer; her mother, Sharon Parker; her brother, Matthew Parker; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
A blessing services and private viewing will be held from the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge. Private interment, Old Forge Cemetery.
