Obituaries

Dolores M. (Brovitz) Kloptoski, age 85, a lifelong resident of the Greenwood section of Moosic, passed away Tuesday at Scranton Health Care Center, after an illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kloptoski, on July 8, 1973.
Born on July 8, 1935 and raised in Moosic, Dolores was the daughter of the late Ignatius and Helen (Laskowski) Brovitz. A graduate of the former St. Mary of the Assumption High School and Scranton Nursing School, she worked as a supervisor at Manhattan Shirt Company prior to her retirement.
She was a member of St. Mary of Czestochowa Cemetery prior to its closure.
A blessing service by Rev. Francis Pauselli will be Monday at 1:00 PM in the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge, with burial to follow at St. Mary Czestochowa Cemetery in Moosic. Viewing will be 12:30PM until services.
