Pamela (Pam) Colborn, age 43 and a lifelong Scranton resident, passed away Tuesday evening at Regional Hospital of Scranton succumbing to a sudden illness related to complications of Addisons Disease.

Born July 6, 1977, Pam was the loving daughter of Robert and Donna ( Devereaux ) Colborn. She was a graduate of Scranton High School, Class of 1995, where she excelled in the classroom as a member of both the gifted education program and National Honor Society. She then furthered her studies in the Pharm D program at Philadelphia College of Pharmacy.
Pam’s greatest joys all revolved around being with her family. From her summer vacations spent in Rehoboth Beach, Del. to babysitting her nieces and nephew, to evening gossip sessions with her best buds, her sister Megan, and niece, Rhianna, Pam’s presence will be felt as she will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her fiancé, Kevin Cavalari of Throop; her sisters, Christine Hanis and husband Steven and Megan Colborn and husband Jack Gariepy, all of Scranton; her nieces Julianne and Rhianna Dunay, and nephews Jack, Evan , and the sunshine member of the group, Maclyn Gariepy, all of Scranton. Pulling up the rear is her godmother, aunt and second mother, Mary Ann Minner of Olyphant; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her family would like to acknowledge and thank her cousin Dr Joseph Delserra, Dr. Yvonne Galella, the ER staff of Regional Hospital especially Dr. Andrew Frie and Maureen Mahoney RN and the entire ICU staff at Regional for their collective amazing care and compassion throughout Pam’s sudden illness.

A celebration of Pam’s life is scheduled for Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Providence United Presbyterian Church, 1145 Providence Rd in North Scranton to be conducted by Rev Dr Murray Thompson, Pastor. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until services at the church.. All Covid procedures will be in place including wearing masks and social distancing.

In her final act of kindness and to ensure her legacy continues within all of those she helps, Pam was an organ donor .

Memorial contributions may be made in Pam’s name to the Providence United Presbyterian Church, 1145 Providence Rd, Scranton, Pa..18508.
