Leona F. Byank, 93, a lifelong resident of Dupont, died Saturday evening. She was the widow of Joseph B. Byank, Sr., who died October 29, 1993.
Leona was a life member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont. Her grandchildren and her great grandchildren were the light of her life.
Surviving are her loving children, Christine Wilson and Joseph Byank, Jr.; Brothers, Joseph, Michael, Stephen, and John Satkowski; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters.
A private mass of Christian burial will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont by Rev. Thomas J. Petro, J.C.L., pastor. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
