Walter Peck, Sr.

June 22, 1946 - August 29, 2020

Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

Oh boy - where do I even begin to start? Our friendship began as we worked together at the steering wheel back in the 70’s! We became fast friends and blended our families for so many adventures and trips to NYC - to see the shows, and to Atlantic City - we had many many dinners together, laughs beyond measure! Wally and Barb were true treasures of friendship! I will hold that dear to my heart! They adored you Sherri, Wally and Jason beyond measure! I am truly sorry for your loss, I feel it too!! I hope in time, it all becomes a joy to talk about them and remember all the best that you all shared!! Wally made it easy to be his friend- he had such a bubbly personality and always smiling and laughing! A good time was all but guaranteed when we were together! Even in his hospital bed , recognizing my daughters name - he befriended her on some of his worst days!! May God bless you all and may God keep WAlly in his loving arms for all eternity!!

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. I met Wally some 55 years ago when we all"hung-out" at Carrolls hamburg on Birney Ave. and in the last few years continued to see him at McDonalds in Old Forge. No matter what he was going thru in his life, he always had a smile and a good morning for me. We often talked about our losses because I missed my Mom and sister so much and he had a broken heart after losing your Mom. Wally was a great person,we shared so many laughs and had such fun in our early years and I will miss our conversations. My deepest sympathy to your family, may the happy memories of your Dad comfort you.

Dear JP, Jill & Lilly, we just wanted to extend our sympathies to you & your family for your father\'s passing. We have lost both of our fathers over the years & it is a difficult event to deal with & to overcome. With time, prayers & support from families & friends you will reach that point when you can talk about your loved one with smiles (and yes, laughter, too) instead of just tears. Please take solace in that. Again we are so sorry. Take care. Sincerely, Mary & Jeff Swingle/Binghamton, NY (You don\'t know us personally, Jay, we are simply viewers of your travels. We just wanted you to know we care.)
