Post 1601 Ladies Auxiliary; and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.
A faithful Roman Catholic, she was also a lifelong member of St. Patrick’s Parish.
She is survived by her adopted daughter and caregiver, Paulette Burns of Scranton; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and great-great nieces and great-great nephews. Her siblings, William Reap and Catherine Hutchinson, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will begin on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Kevin K. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton, with a 10:30AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick’s Church, West Scranton, to be celebrated by Rev. Richard Fox, Pastor.
