Jeffrey Luizza

September 27, 1958 - December 3, 2019

Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

I didn’t know Jeff personally, we all knew about his beyond generous and heartfelt work with the rescues. Because of him numerous lives were saved. This is a huge loss not only to the rescue community but also to the world. I know his greeting when he got to the other side of the bridge was beautiful and welcoming. Until we all meet again. My heart goes out to his family and the rescue community. There is no replacing this man. We miss you Jeff.??

Jeff will be so missed, We knew him for the work he did for the community of helpless animals, needing a "rescue" hand up if you will....Jeff filled that plane with, fuel, his time, and a full load of greatful souls desperate for "just a chance" Jeff gave them that chance. Jeff we only met once, during a rescue trip from here in Florence, but your impact on our hearts will last forever. The news of your passing was shocking, but we are never ready to loose the "good ones". God speed, there are so many souls waiting for you at the rainbow bridge, to just say THANK YOU. From all of us, Jan, Dusty, Pippy, Tatermonkey, MarcieDarcy, Raven, Ms Bella, Raven, Gertie, Rolex, and Coal Train, RIP Jeff....Fly the clouds of heaven, my friend. You are so missed.

2019 had been a great year for heaven but difficult year for those of us on earth. I lost my mother recently and I am saddened by Jeff’s passing. Heaven has gained another angel! Although I never had the opportunity to meet him in person, as a fellow animal advocate and aviation professional, I got to know and appreciate him through email, Facebook and a one time phone call. Supporting his efforts and celebrating every rescue flight. He was kind, gentle and fearless when it came to accomplishing each rescue mission. His enthusiasm for rescuing was contagious. He definitely made a difference in so many lives. -A special thank you to his family for sharing him with us all and a heartfelt hug. High Flight my friend. May your legacy live on! ✈️

As a member of the rescue community and a follower of Jeff - my heart is heavy with such an extreme loss to the rescue community. His presence made such a humongous impact to our world, he is irreplaceable. My prayers to his family and friends. I just know his greeting at the bridge was epic. No doubt God has big plans for this angel in earth. Now in heaven.
