Anna Marie Wilbur, age 75, of Dupont, passed away surrounded by her loving family Wednesday morning at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp., after an illness. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Wilbur. On March 5th, the couple celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary.
Born on August 31, 1943, Anna Marie was the daughter of the late William and Christina Sendatch Church. A loyal and loving wife, she was also an amazing mother to her three daughters and an adoring grandmother to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her just as she meant everything to her family. Now at peace, her memories will be forever cherished and her legacy will long be carried on by her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Tyner and husband Brian of Carthage, North Carolina, Donna Cobb and husband Thomas of Tom’s River, New Jersey and Dora Ewan and husband Brian, Sr. of Barnegat, New Jersey; her brother, Michael Kopich; her grandchildren, William and Bryan Bartlett, Courtney Tyner, Thomas, Jonathan, Christina and Matthew Cobb, Nicole and Brian Ewan, Jr.; great grandchildren, Jayden, Rhyden and Caiden; and nieces and nephews.
A brother, William Church, preceded her in death.
Funeral services, to be conducted by Rev. Dr. Michael Shambora, Moosic United Methodist Church Pastor, are scheduled for Saturday at 4:00PM in the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 2:00PM until services. Interment will be private.
