William (Bill) Keslosky, 61, of Lake Winola passed away Monday morning at Abington Manor, South Abington Twp., after an illness. Together for nearly 40 years, Bill is survived by the love of his life, his best friend and wife, Barbara (Filipovic) Keslosky.
Born in Old Forge on May 10, 1958, son of the late Michael (Ralph) and Lillian Prytula Keslosky, Bill was a proud bicentennial graduate of Old Forge High School’s Class of 1976. With a love for cars and and knack for fixing them, Bill was a lifelong mechanic. He began Keslosky’s Auto Services atop Taylor Hill nearly four decades ago and with Barbara by his side the couple successfully ran the business together.
Bill was a longtime NASCAR fan whose favorite driver had been Jeff Gordon. He enjoyed cooking, spending time with his family and amazing friends, and he cherished being with Barbara at their New Port Richey, Florida, home where he was an avid deep sea fisherman.
Adored by so many, Bill will forever be missed by his loved ones.
He is also survived by his siblings, Sonia Maciorowski and husband Thomas of Bloomsburg and Peter Keslosky of Dickson City; nieces and nephews; cousins; and best friends.
His brother, Michael B. Keslosky; and his niece, Samantha Mahoney, also preceded him in death.
Barbara will always appreciate the care and comfort provided by Ryan and Saltine, aides at Abington Manor.
Parastas will be Friday at 6 p.m. in the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home Inc., 517 N. Main St., Old Forge, by the Rev. Peter Henry, rector of St. Michael’s Orthodox Church in Old Forge, Bill’s childhood parish.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects Friday from 4 until services. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s name to the American Cancer Society c/o P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
