Rosario (Ross) Marino, Jr., age 61, of Dunmore, passed away Tuesday at Dunmore Health Care Center, after an illness.
A Passaic, New Jersey native, Ross was born on September 7, 1957. Son of Patricia Marino of Honesdale and the late Rosario Marino, Sr., he was a graduate of Wayne Highlands High school. Prior to becoming ill, he was employed by Saint Joseph’s Center Dunmore.
Ross loved animals ecspecially his cat, Luna. He loved science and nature and the beauty of the world never ceased to amaze him. He also loved to help others that were in need. He will be missed by all who knew him
He is also survived by his loving daughter, Kimberly Brennan and husband Matthew of Scranton; his two grandchildren, Jillian and Gavin Brennan; his siblings, Raymond Marino and wife Pilar of Pittston and Susan Edsall of Bethany; and two nephews.
His brothers, Robert Marino and Richard Marino, also preceded him in death.
A celebration of Ross’s life will be held on Saturday, July 20th, at the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge, between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., with a eulogy at noon by his beloved daughter. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ross’s name to St. Joseph’s Center c/o 2010 Adams Ave., Scranton, PA, 18509.
