Obituaries

Anna Forman (Fenton) of Greentown, died Monday February 11, 2019 at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton, under Compassionate Care Hospice. Born on November 12, 1956 in Sayre, Pa. where she lived all of her childhood years, Anna was the daughter of the late John and Esther Mae Fenton. In the early 1980’s Anna and her family moved to the Poconos where she continued to live. She was a very loving, caring and giving woman who would do anything for anyone in need and she would always send you home with a home cooked meal. She will be dearly missed.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Debra Forman; three grandsons, Brandon, Devante’ and Darius Forman, all of Greentown, Pa; Anna’s longtime companion, Allen Olsommer; three sisters, Shirley Vanderpool and husband Neal of Ohio, Charlene Brown and husband Rick of Athens, Pa, and Cathy Barry and husband Bob of Waverly, Pa.; three brothers, Albert Fenton of Waverly, Pa, Wayne Fenton and wife Kathy of Harrisburg, Pa. and Paul Fenton of Williamsport, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
She is also proceeded in death by brothers, Gordon Fenton, Bill Fenton, Johnny Jr. Fenton and beloved sister, Linda Lee Fenton.
A memorial service will be held at the Alpine, just like Anna would have wanted, on Saturday, February 16th, at 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna’s name to her family to distribute in her Mom’s memory, c/o P.O. Box 426 Canadensis, Pa. 18325.
