Paul J. Bailey, aged 75, of Moosic, PA passed away Tuesday morning January 29, 2019 at home with his remarkable wife of 53 years, Margaret, by his side after a brief, but acute, illness.
Born in Niagara Falls, New York, but residing in the Tri-Boro area for most of his life, this Air Force Veteran of the 1960s had a zest for life and will always be fondly remembered by all who knew him for his quick wit and love of a good time. He will be forever young.
Gone to a more peaceful place, he will be missed by his sons, Scott Bailey, his wife Dianne and grandchildren Rebecca and Jessica of Suffolk, Virginia and, Michael Bailey, his wife Lisa and grandchildren Katie and Joseph of Jenkins Township.
The Bailey family will be eternally grateful to the staff of Hospice of the Sacred Heart. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Drive # 7, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 would be appreciated.
Funeral arrangement by Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, 517 North Main Street, Old Forge, PA shall be private at the family’s request.
