Dionne M. Kleback, 40, of Stowe, PA , and a native of Taylor, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018.
Born in Scranton on January 22, she was the beloved daughter of Mary Cherra Kleback and husband John Dougherty of Moosic, and Keith Kleback and wife Kim of Taylor.
After graduating from Riverside High School, Dionne continued her education at East Stroudsburg University, earning a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. She was also pursuing a Master’s degree from Villanova University. She loved her various management positions in the hotels of the Philadelphia area, and took pride in every job she did.
From her youth, Dionne was referred to as “Nosey Rosey”, and as she grew, always having “the scoop”, she rightfully earned the nickname of “Barbara Walters.” Dionne will always be remembered by everyone who loved her not only for being a royal pain in the ass, but more importantly, for her endless love and compassion, especially for her pride and joy, her boys. She truly had a heart of gold that will shine on through them.
Dionne is survived by her beloved sons, Christian and Cory, and her longtime companion, Randy Yocom, of Stowe; her brother Keith Kleback and wife Stacey of Old Forge; her grandparents, Helen and Joseph Cherra of Taylor; her aunt and best friend, Jo Ann Lane of Moosic; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life and private blessing services were held by Rev. Fran Landry, C.P., pastor of Saint Ann Basilica Parish. Arrangements were under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dionne’s name to the Catherine McAuley Center, 430 Pittston Avenue, Scranton, PA, 18505.
