Natea (Taya) Manigo, age 20, a lifelong Scranton resident, passed away Thursday, leaving behind her beloved daughter, Lilly.
Born on October 25, 1997, and daughter of Dwayne Burley and Amber Spencer, Taya went to Scranton High School.
She had the most amazing sense of humor – always smiling, being silly and constantly bringing laughter to those around her. She was outgoing, kind-hearted and served as the go-to person for any family member or friend in need. Above all else was her daughter, Lilly. Taya will certainly serve as Lilly’s guardian angel, watching over her forever.
Loved by all who knew her, she’ll long be missed.
She is also survived by her sisters, Nakima Cole and Unique and Reina Walters; her dear grandmother, Beth Fitzgerald; and her cousins, C.J., Tyrick and, especially her best friend, Amanda Friday.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday at noon at the Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton. Interment will follow at the SS Peter and Paul Parish Cemetery, West Scranton.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 10:00AM until services.
