A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Monday at 10:00AM at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, 620 S. Main Street in Old Forge, to be concelebrated by Rev. August Ricciardi, Pastor, and Rev. Joseph Sica. Burial will follow at Old Forge Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the church on Monday from 9:00AM until Mass.
Arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge.

Anna Breig, age 89, of Old Forge, passed away early Friday morning at her home, following an illness, with her loving family by her side. She is survived by her beloved husband, Edwin Breig, Sr. The couple would have celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on Sunday.
Born on August 25, 1929, raised in Duryea and daughter of the late Martin and Anna Pavlisko Dunay, Anna was educated at the former Duryea High School. Family was the focal point of her life and upon raising her four children she helped raise each and every one of her eight grandchildren. They certainly gave her the greatest joy in her life.
Her greatest joys in life was nurturing, and caring for others-whether making her famous chocolate chip cookies or traveling to and from sports events. Anna will be forever missed by all of her dear loved ones.
Of Roman Catholic faith, she was a faithful member of St. Lawrence O’Toole Church, Prince of Peace Parish, Old Forge.
She is also survived by her four children, Kathy Sallavanti and husband Armando, Sr., Ann Marie Morris and husband Bruce, Janice Belko and husband John and Ed Breig, Jr., all of Old Forge; her adoring grandchildren, Dr. Kathryn Sallavanti-Kowalski and husband Brian, Megan DiBileo and husband Jason, Dr.Armando Sallavanti and wife Gina, Lauren Belko, Diana Martinelli and husband Michael, Brian Morris, Chrissy Belko, and Kierstyn and Claire Breig; great grandchildren, Sophia and Nicholas Kowalski, Aurelia DiBileo and Mia and Armando Sallavanti; siblings, Martin Dunay and wife Irene, Paul Dunay and wife Anna Mae, Joseph Dunay, Veronica Reese, Helen Champi and Irene Kosik ; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Michael and Albert Dunay, Ruth Pernot and Theresa Macuga.
Anna’s family wishes to thank the entire staff of Compassionate Care Hospice and Dr Kathryn Sallavanti whose tremendous care made her final days as peaceful as possible.
