Linda Layo, age 60, of South Abington Twp., passed away Thursday at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, after an illness.
Funeral services will begin on Tuesday at 9:45AM from the Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton, with an 11:00AM Mass of Christian Burial at The Church of St. Gregory, 330 N. Abington Road, Clarks Summit, to be celebrated by Rev. John Lapera, Pastor. Interment will follow at Milwaukee Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Monday between 4-8:00PM at the funeral home.

Linda A. Murray-Layo, 60, South Abington Twp., passed away Thursday, July 26, at Geisinger Community Medical Center after a brief illness. She was the wife of William Layo.
Born in Scranton, daughter of Sylvia (Woelkers) Sands and the late Robert Murray, she was a 1975 graduate of Scranton Technical High School.
Linda was a constant giver, always putting her loved ones’ needs and wants above her own. She cherished being a grandmother and called it her greatest joy in life. She loved spoiling her grandkids and was always very proud of them and her three boys. She also cherished and spoke fondly of the time she spent with her paternal grandmother, Martha, who she is now reunited with. Her other pride and joy was her faithful puppy, Joba. She enjoyed having a flair for fashion, listening to all types of music, attending concerts, hosting parties, watching Lifetime dramas with Bill, visiting New York City, vacationing in Aruba and cheering on her beloved New York Yankees and New York Giants.
In addition to her husband, surviving are sons, Frank Pagnotti and wife, Jennifer, of Clarks Green; Scott Pagnotti and wife, Kathryn, of Dunmore; and Marc Pagnotti of South Abington Twp.; stepchildren, William Layo of Memphis, Tenn., Ray Layo and wife, Adrienne, of Katy, Texas; Lisa Beebe and husband, Meade, of Scranton; and Dan Layo of Boston, Mass.; grandchildren, Dylan, Luke, Blake, Hayden, Colin, Kendall, Sloane and Mila; brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
