Rebecca (Beckey) Taylor, age 46, of Dickson City and a Taylor native, passed away Sunday morning.
Born in Taylor on September 11, 1971, she was the daughter of the late Robert, Sr. and Valerie Taylor. She created a career in child care due to her love for children, first raising her three beloved sons and most recently helping to raise her little cousins Laynee & Kyle . Amazing, selfless, caring and fun loving were only a few of the countless adjectives used to describe her. She had a knack for humor, always making those around her laugh, and she was the unofficial family historian. Passing away unexpectedly, she’ll be forever be missed by family and friends.
She is survived by her three adoring sons, Joseph Cruise of Bloomsburg, and Brandon and Noah Cruise of Old Forge; her two sisters, Terri Taylor of Dickson City and Donna Freeman and husband (Red) of Scranton; Step siblings Teresa and Chris Fedor and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Her brother, Robert Taylor, Jr. preceded her in death.
Scheduled services under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 517 North Main Street, Old Forge, will be private.
