Thomas Rafalko, age 65, of Scranton, passed away Friday at home after an illness. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Kilonsky Rafalko. Wed on June 8, 1974, the couple celebrated 43 years of marriage.
Born in Throop on January 16, 1953 and son of the late Joseph and Mary Rafalko, Thomas was a graduate of Mid Valley High School, Class of 1971. For 28 years prior to his retirement, he worked for R.C.A. (eventually Thomson Consumer Electronics) of Dunmore.
Thomas enjoyed life’s simple joys. He had an amazing work ethic, enjoyed playing pool and will long be remembered for his fun-loving spirit. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
His is survived by his adoring son, Billy Rafalko and wife Melissa of Goodlettsville, TN.; his sister, Leona Gretzula of FL.; and nieces and nephews.
Siblings, Tina Pica, Joseph and infant Robert Rafalko, also preceded him in death.
Private arrangements are under the care of the Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton.
