Louis Paul Sydorowitz, known as Lou, Louie, or sometimes “The Dude”, a Scranton resident, passed away Thursday morning.
He was born on February 2, 1950, and raised on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York, where he attended Seward Park High School. He then moved to Lake Wallenpaupack where he worked at the Paupack Hills Country Club for many years. He later moved to Scranton where he worked at the Clarion Hotel for a number of years. He enjoyed playing pool and belonged to many leagues. He also enjoyed reading, trivia, puzzles, classic films, Sci-Fi, and the great music of the 60s & 70s especially Elvis Presley. He also loved to travel, with one of his favorite trips being to Graceland.
Above all else he loved spending time with his family. He is very loved and will be greatly missed.
