William “Billie” Norman Strunk, Jr., 78, of Glendale, died Monday afternoon at Scranton Regional Hospital.
Born in Glendale on September 3, 1939, son of the late William Norman Strunk and Beatrice Strunk Yeager, Billie graduated from Moosic High School. He is survived by his sister Marilynn Silfee of Hershey, brother Lewis Strunk of Duryea, nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He was also proceeded in death by brother Ronald Strunk.
Billie loved the Lord and attended Glendale Gospel Chapel and Moosic Alliance Community Church.
A Homecoming Celebration will be held on Friday, February 23 at 7:00 pm at the Moosic Alliance Community Church, 608 Rocky Glen Road, Rocky Glen section of Moosic. Interment will be private at Slocum Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Moosic Alliance Community Church, 608 Rocky Glen Road, Moosic, PA, 18641. Arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, 517 N. Main St., Old Forge, Pa.
