Obituaries

Lenore Myerchik, a lifelong resident of Old Forge, unexpectedly passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017.
A graduate of Old Forge High School, she then attended the University of Scranton. She worked in the accounting, taxation, and financial consulting field throughout her career. For 15 years prior to her retirement, she was the sole proprietor of her own tax service business, with credentials such as: EA (Enrolled Agent of the Internal Revenue Service); ATA (Accredited Tax Advisor); ATP (Accredited Tax Preparer, consultant); a Notary public; and a member of many state and federal accredited chapters.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Myerchik, Sr.; her son, Walter Myerchik, Jr.; and her daughter, Mary Catherine Roland.
She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Myerchik, and a daughter, Angelica Myerchik.
A blessing service by Rev. Eduard Shestak, Pastor of St. Nicholas of Myra Church, will be private with burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Thomas P.
