Obituaries

Dawn R. Casper, age 65, a resident of Abington Manor in Clarks Summit, passed away Thursday. She was preceded in death on June 17, 2007, by her husband, John L. Casper.
Born on October 11, 1951 and daughter of the late Sven and Phyllis Kelley Rosengren, Dawn worked many years as a caregiver for Keystone Community Resources in Scranton.
She is survived by her children, James Luyster and wife Amy and Jennifer Polito and husband James, all of Roaring Brook Twp.; her granddaughter, Caroline Luyster; her sister, Svea McKillen; and nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a son, John Luyster.
Private arrangements are under the care of the Kearney Funeral Home, Inc., 125 North Main Avenue, Scranton.
