Michael T. Harmer, 26, of Pittston, died Aug. 28 en route to see his son, when he was the victim of a tragic accident where he was hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle.
Born in Scranton, son of Joseph and Stacy Keller, he was a graduate of Scranton High School and was an avid Denver Broncos fan. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, especially playing football with his brothers. His love for a game of basketball was only topped by his numerous pairs of Jordan sneakers. He was a loving father, son and brother who was taken too soon.
Also surviving are one son, Julius Harmer; one daughter, Peyton Harmer; five brothers, Joseph and Kyle Harmer and Damion, Bryan and Jaiden Keller; two sisters, Merrica and Jazmine Keller; his grandparents, Alice Keller, Bonnie Jezorwski and Joe Smith; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lucy Hodgins and Floyd Dutter Sr.
