Siblings, Jack, Alfred, Clifford and Ronald Thorne, and Grace Lis, also preceded her in death.
Her family wishes to acknowledge both Dr. Mark Lyons as well as the entire staff of Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their amazing generosity, care and compassion in Shirley’s final days.
Private funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Michael Shambora, Pastor of the Stewart U.M. Church. Burial, Marcy Cemetery in Duryea.
